Summer Activities
World Class Ski Slopes and adjacent land give rise to Summer Hiking, Mountain Biking, Climbing, Fly-Fishing and Disc Golf trails covered with Mountain Wildflowers, Aspens and fragrant Evergreens. Solitude Mountain is frequently visited by local Wildlife including an abundant Moose and Deer population which are often seen grazing on the green Mountain slopes and perpetually photographed by hikers and visitors
Mountain Biking and Hiking
Winter Ski Trails give rise to over 20 miles of forested
single-track trail on the mountain satisfying beginners all the way
up to the ultra adventurous. The trails at Solitude are open 7 days
a week daylight hours, and bikes are allowed on the Sunrise lift.
There are bike rentals available.
Disc
Golf
Solitude is
proud to be the home of Utah's only high altitude mountainside disc
golf course (commonly referred to as Frisbee Golf). This is an
18-hole course and most of the baskets are between 300' and 500' in
length (all holes are par 3), with a total course distance of
7,750'. The first hole starts at 9000'so we really mean high
altitude.

Fly Fishing
Try
your luck at catching a native Brook Trout out of Big Cottonwood
Creek or one of the nearby rivers. During the summer, it takes 30
minutes to reach the blue-ribbon waters of the Provo River
(Gaurdsman Pass Road), featuring some of the best Brown-Trout
fishing in the state.

Club
Solitude features a Year Round Outdoor Pool with 2 Large Hot Tub
Jacuzzi's, Water Slide, Fountain Jets and Water Basketball. Fresh
Alpine Cool Mountain air with Spectacular views to relax and escape
Summer heat. It is often 20 degrees cooler in Solitude than in
downtown Salt Lake, just 18 minutes away!
